Operations Manager & Front of House

Tabitha James Kraan Organic Hairdressing is an award winning eco-luxe organic hair salon in the Cotswolds – specialising in holistic colouring and organic hair care. Tabitha James Kraan has specialised in organic hairdressing for over two decades. Her boutique salon was founded on two principles: An Organic Approach and Great Hair. We are newly located at the beautiful Farncombe Estate on the edge of Broadway and the Cotswolds. We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our fun and friendly team!

• Acting as a first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and phone calls
• Scheduling appointments, maintaining the Directors calendar, and sending reminders
• Assisting the Director in important tasks and deadlines
• Managing the diary of 4+ team members ensuring all bookings flow seamlessly
• Planning and implementing strategies to attract customers
• Keep track of invoices making sure they are paid on or before deadline
• Coordinate daily customer service operations
• Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
• Monitor and maintain stock inventory
• Copying and scanning documents, ordering office supplies and replacements, as well as managing mail and courier services
• Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
• Supervise and motivate staff to perform at their best
• Monitor retail operating costs, budgets and resources
• Handle complaints from customers
• Research emerging products and use information to update the brand’s merchandise
• Create reports, analyse and interpret retail data including revenues, expenses and competition
• Act as our brand’s representative and set an example for our staff

The person we’re looking for should have strong communication skills, be capable of working on their own initiative, have excellent organisation and time keeping skills and thrive on working within a team.
