Quantitative Analyst

Job Description

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting quantitative analysis of economic data, market trends, and financial instruments to identify potential trading opportunities
• Developing and implementing quantitative models to analyze market data and generate trading signals
• Collaborating with portfolio managers and traders to develop and refine trading strategies
• Conducting ad-hoc analysis to support investment decision-making
• Monitoring portfolio risk and performance and recommending adjustments as needed

To be eligible for the role you will require:

• 2-5 years of experience in a quantitative role in finance or related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in statistical analysis and modelling
• Strong programming skills, with experience in Python, R, or MATLAB
• Knowledge of financial markets and instruments, with a focus on FX and Rates
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or engineering
