THE POSITION

As a Commercial Insurance Account Manager, you will be selling Insurance and Financial Services to Local SMBs within the GTA area.

SALES CYCLE & PRODUCT VALUE

  • Average order dollar value $1000-$4000
  • The length of time to close is typically 1 month – 1 year.

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES

  • 20% Prospecting / Discovery Meetings
  • 20% Cold Calling
  • 10%Following up on Supplied leads
  • 25% Presenting
  • 25% Account Management/Upselling

 

TERRITORY & OVERNIGHT TRAVEL

  • Less than 10%
  • Across GTA

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $45k-$60k Base Salary, plus commission
  • OTE in the first year is $75,000 +
  • OTE in the second year is $85,000+

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

  • 1-3 Years of sales experience
  • Insurance experience is not a must but nice to have

  • Professional experience equivalent

  • Basic Computer Skills
  • PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel
  • Online Screen Sharing
