Role: Senior User Experience Designer

Contracting Authority: Government

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Remote/Hybrid – Exeter

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate: £575 per day

Security Clearance: SC Clearance

 

 

An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Senior User Experience Designer to join their welcoming team. As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will be providing digital solutions to ensure the smooth running of the business requirements.

 

 

The Senior User Experience Designer Role:

• To create wireframes/prototypes/user flows utilizing Axure/InVision/Adobe

• To carry out user research (remote and on-site) from planning to analysis to ensure that the end product is effective for user experience

• To provide advice and guidance to junior members of the team in order for them to work effectively with minimal supervision

• To analyze findings from research conducted and use this to make decisions on how to move forward with user experience designing

• To ensure that a user-centric design approach is utilized throughout the team

• Ensure that the best ways of working are utilized by following the best design standards, guidelines, and best practices

• To be a part of Communities of Practice to share knowledge and develop current ways of working

• Keep own knowledge and skills up to date with changes in the sector

 

 

What the Senior User Experience Designer will need:

• SC Clearance

• Strong experience with a range of Prototyping methods

• Good experience with problem-solving and providing solutions

• To have a User focus approach

• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across the business

• Strong analysis/synthesis skills and ability to use findings to make effective decisions
