About the Team

Weโ€™re building out a new discipline at Workday: Agile Product Marketing for the CHRO buying center. The Agile Team is an exciting new group in the oCHRO Product Marketing organization that works on cross-product, cross buying center, and industry initiatives that directly support critical and timely priorities. The team swarms to solve evolving challenges, supporting the Product Center of Excellence and Planning & Programs with additional capacity, and run cross-functional gigs coordinating collaboration and resources.

About the Role
As one of the first team members, weโ€™d like you to help shape our product marketing approach for building and supporting an agile discipline with a focus on creating more capacity, and executing on critical initiatives spanning products, buying centers, and industries.
Work on the agile team is fast-paced, highly varied, and falls into three main areas.
  • Respond: We respond quickly to urgent, high-priority requests
  • Support: We assist the oCHRO Product Marketing Center of Excellence and GTM/program teams with extra capacity
  • Pursue: We proactively pursue strategic activities
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive collaborative initiatives with global integrated marketing, product strategy, industry product marketing, product management and sales teams that articulate the Workday vision and value
  • Collaborate with the wider Workday Product Marketing team and key Sales & Marketing contacts within the Workday ecosystem to shape solution messaging and positioning for oCHRO products and packaged solutions
  • Raise awareness and drive enablement activities within the Workday sales community
  • Play an active role in supporting GTM activities for new features, products, and packaged solutions
  • Support sales activities, bringing product marketing and product expertise, creativity and innovation to sales and customer enablement cycles
  • Work closely with the customer advocacy and value management teams to help cultivate stories and value testimonials
About You
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of product/solution/service/consulting marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA), MBA a plus
  • Experience with Human Capital Management software
Other Qualifications
  • Flexible, results-driven product marketing professional with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time while achieving or exceeding business goals
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a growth mindset
  • A consultant approach with the ability to drive to clarity, manage partners, and deliver outcome-oriented results, consulting experience a plus
  • Expertise and a proven track record in successfully launching and marketing Human Capital Management applications highly desirable
  • Experience building, driving and executing strategy across multiple buying centers and industries with a focus against defined goals
  • Experience building solid peer relationships in order to influence key team members at all management levels
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet business goals and influence co-workers while fostering strong working relationships
  • Objectivity and openness to others’ views and continuously builds a positive team spirit
  • Drives teamwork and collaborative information sharing
  • Strong critical thinking, creative problem solving, and analytical skills along with ability to execute
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and communication skills
  • Global outlook – a citizen of the world
  • Great sense of humor
Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The base pay range for the primary location of this job is listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidateโ€™s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, future potential and internal pay parity. Primary Location: USA.CA.Pleasanton

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $138,400 – $207,600
