Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in the carrier or online sector.

• Experience in sales or account management with consumer electronics or similar manufacturers, or working at a telecommunications company on device business or retail operations or management.

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA degree.

• Experience in business development and sales, in a fast-moving industry with mobile devices and services.

• Experience in relationship management.

• Experience planning and managing operational levels within a retail/online sales environment

. • Ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex problems and scale across an organization, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Excellent strategic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and reach and exceed quotas.

Google’s line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google’s newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV, and Commerce.

As the Strategic Partner Manager, you will be charged with leading Google hardware product engagements. You will be involved in product launches, promotional planning, tracking, and collaborative forecasting. In addition, you will lead a broader carrier team focused on all aspects of the mobile business, including growing hardware ecosystem portfolio and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Lead the introduction and management of Google hardware products, business planning and forecasting, promotional planning, merchandising, and day-to-day account management of carriers.

• Set goals for product tier volumes, market share goals, and channel execution.

• Serve as the primary internal and external interface from a business and day-to-day account management perspective.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, develop, and communicate final recommendations.
