About the role
Are you an energetic and experienced Executive Assistant who is looking to make a change for the better? This is the perfect opportunity to work for an innovative organisation that shares your passion for delivering benefits to our community.

This position works in the General Manager’s office and is primarily responsible for providing accurate, confidential and high-level executive support to the Mayor. From time-to-time you may also provide support to the General Manager.

In this role you will analyse and prioritise requests to the optimise the Mayor’s time. You will also ensure correspondence and distribution of responses are actioned in a timely manner. Your ability to provide accurate and reliable advice, information and recommendations in a discrete manner is key to this position.

What you’ll bring
You will be a highly skilled communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Furthermore, your sound understanding of the complexities of working in sensitive environments will be highly regarded.
Importantly, you will be a business administration expert and have relevant qualifications in this area.

Salary: Approximate range of $80,500 – $88,500 p.a. plus superannuation (subject to skills and experience).

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
