ABOUT THE POSITION

The Perth Mint is looking for a technical writer with experience creating Document processes at the refinery in the form of Safe Work Instructions, Training assessments, JSEAs and similar documentation.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop Gold Corporation documentation such as Safe Work Instructions, Training Assessments, JSEAs and similar.
  • Liaise with the production, operations and maintenance teams to obtain the information and ensure the produced documents a suitable for the target audience.
  • Observe employees performing tasks and transfer the observation into documentation.
  • Liaise with the HSE&T team to ensure the documents meet the safety and training requirements.
  • Produce high quality documents that meet the business requirements.
  • Write user friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience.
  • Analyse and format documentation to maintain continuity of style of content.
  • Display the ability to complete daily technical writing activities with limited or no supervision.
  • Utilise a document management system for record keeping of the documents.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who has skills and experience in the following:

  • Prior experience in technical document writing and document formatting.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal Communication
  • Attention to Detail
  • Computer Literate
  • Able to work collaboratively with others
