Cpl Life Sciences are partnering with a leading contract manufacturer for Pharma and Biotech companies recruiting a Technologist I to join their Cell Expression R&D team in Cambridge. In this role, the perfect candidates will be working on projects that create novel CHO cell lines and gene expression platforms with enhanced performance characteristics.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to join an innovative and impactful team with a diverse range of skills and experience across a range of fields including cell and molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, recombinant protein expression, protein engineering, and cell engineering. You will be able to test your own ideas and develop yourself whilst learning new techniques and trialing different equipment.

Key requirements:
o BSc/MSc Degree in Life Sciences / Science/ Molecular Biology

o Practical experience within industrial and/or academic settings with relevant mammalian cell culture techniques – experience with CHO suspension cultures is advantageous

o Able to demonstrate contribution to technology development projects, with experience in implementing new technologies
