Our well-equipped practice includes two consult rooms, a theatre and prep room, kennels, a lab, and ample off-road parking. Our dedicated nursing team is renowned for their care and compassion within the local community. You will also receive dedicated support from our branch partner.

In addition to working in a supportive environment, you’ll have access to other nearby practices, including an out-of-hours service and a referrals centre just a short drive away.

This opportunity is ideal for those looking to advance their veterinary career while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule of 2 days per week and 1 in 3 weekends.

Salary: £60,000 per annum pro rata

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures.
  • Offer outstanding client care with clear updates on patient status.
  • Maintain the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
  • Develop tailored treatment and care plans with precise cost estimates.
  • Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills and effectiveness.
  • Complete clinical handovers and arrange patient transfers as necessary.
  • Share and support clinical best practices within the practice and the wider community.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Exceptional Care: Experienced in delivering high-quality care to patients and clients.
  • Teamwork: Skilled in working collaboratively within a team.
  • Clinical Leadership: Capable of demonstrating strong clinical leadership.
  • Progressive Culture: Experience in fostering a progressive clinical environment.
  • Nurse Consults and Schedule 3 Procedures: Understanding of their contribution to clinic performance and efficiency.
  • Coaching and Influencing: Proficient in using these skills to enhance colleague performance.
