Principal Responsibilities

Independently design and execute experiments for the production, conjugation and biophysical characterization of antibodies Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting, intellectual input, and keep up to date with current and novel techniques Prepare and present data presentations and reports Work cross-functionally with other teams, CROs to efficiently and successfully deliver programs Train junior staff as required

Qualifications, Education & Experience

PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field, with minimum 5 years relevant experience, or BSC/MSC with 10 years relevant experience in biotherapeutic discovery, industry experience preferred Experience with antibody purification, bioconjugation, biophysical analysis, ADCs

Skills and Abilities

Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with the following techniques; Mammalian protein expression Antibody/antigen purification by chromatography using FPLCs essential, including affinity capture, SEC, IEX, AEX, CEX Antibody drug conjugation and analysis (ADC, bioconjugation) Antibody Developability Analysis including DLS, DSF, aSEC, ACSINS Molecular biology including protein expression vector design Antibody Affinity/Kinetic Analysis a bonus Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team Strong critical thinking and analysis skills Excellent communication and presentation skills
