Job Purpose:

  • To Define and support Full-stack Software development for the respective ADAS and autonomous Driving (AD) controllers and the suppliers required to achieve this.
  • To define standards and specifications for ADAS & AD Software development and implementation
  • Support the ADAS & AD Software team to provide safe, secure and ASPICE complaint Software to enable the vehicle to meet Worldwide certification and system performance targets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop ADAS & Autonomous Driving Software Architecture for next generation AML Vehicles at a logical level
  • Define the interfaces and interactions between all Software modules within the ADAS & AD Domain controller.
  • Ensure Software blocks are developed in the correct AUTOSAR stack configuration
  • Ensure Software architecture development is consistent with ASPICE, FuSa and cybersecurity requirements
  • Support and define SW technical standards and processes within the ADAS & AD software team.
  • Provide technical guidance to ADAS & AD SW team members.
  • Support wider ADAS & AD systems development as required.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Excellent level of knowledge of full-stack Software development
  • Good knowledge of ADAS and AD systems and functions
  • Good knowledge of AUTOSAR and Vector toolchain
  • Good knowledge of ASPICE, FuSa and Cybersecurity
  • Working knowledge of Mathworks toolchain (e.g. Matlab, Simulink etc)
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools
  • Working knowledge of automotive SW languages (e.g. python/C++/Matlab)
  • Experience of working with L3/4 Autonomous Driving systems
  • Degree educated in relevant Engineering discipline (e.g. Computing/Electronics/IT)
  • MSc in relevant engineering discipline
