Senior Software Engineer

A Senior Software Engineer who is open-minded, thrives on learning new skills, and shares ideas about how things can be done better, will become part of a well-funded Cambridge start-up, solving environmental challenges, by creating tools that can be applied to clean energy generation.

Salary £70-90K + Hybrid working + 30 days holiday and bank Holidays + Stock options  + much more.

The Senior Software Engineer may come from a background in Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering; will bring 5+ years of professional / Research experience (or a Ph.D. + 2 years) developing software in Python (ideally) C++ or Julia. Of particular interest is my experience working with Electric motors, Cloud Computing / Scalable Computation, Machine Learning, or data science projects.

A bonus would be any exposure to GPGPU Programming, Linux scripting, and Developing software simulators or FEM solvers.

You may not tick all these boxes, but strong analytical skills, lateral thinking and the want to learn new things are essential qualities sought.
