The Azure Cloud Engineer is a member of the WIS Enterprise team, which is responsible for the deployment and support of our global Windows and Cloud infrastructure. We are looking for candidates well versed across multiple areas of technology that want to be part of a dynamic and growing team who strive for continuous improvement. The candidate will lead technical projects, work closely with all areas of IT to assist in the architecture, design and build of the cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure. Lead the requirements gathering, analysis, design, and implementation of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). Additionally, you will work with external vendors and internal team members in providing technical and cost-based information related to new projects as well as plan, test and implement new and current technologies.

 

We’ll trust you to:

• Have prior experience working with Azure Cloud technologies (IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS)
• Manage projects involving system administration, scripting, and automation across multiple platforms.
• Have strong experience with Windows Operating Systems
• Manage Azure Infrastructure using automation – PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure Blueprints.
• Be well versed in enterprise infrastructure concepts – VMWare, SAN, networking, load balancers, and security devices
• Be part of on-call rotation

 

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline or 5+ years equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience working with business, applications, and infrastructure teams to design and implement IAAS, PAAS, SAAS cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Scripting experience with Powershell
• A general understanding of end to end Azure IAAS components
• Hands-on experience in system administration within infrastructure teams
• Excellent written and oral communication with multiple levels of leadership involving both business and technical teams
• Experience using Terraform to perform infrastructure as code

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $160,000 – $185,000. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Corporate’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
