Job Description
The position is required one to be part of the face-to-face 7-day Clinical Dietitian service inclusive of weekends and public holidays as rostered with working hours of 0830-1700.
The weekday hours of work are 0800-1630 or 0830-1700, as well as participation in the ‘late shift’ roster with hours of 0830-1700 to support departmental technical staff.
The Clinical Dietitian provides a high-quality Nutrition and Dietetics service to allocated clinical areas. As a key member of the healthcare team, the Clinical Dietitian is an advocate for nutrition services. The Nutrition and Dietetics service provides a comprehensive range of nutrition services including inpatients, outpatients, ambulatory care, and community consumers according to endorsed standards of practice, policy and procedure.
Remuneration: $1259.52 – $1872.59 per week

What you’ll be doing
- Bachelor or postgraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of service to consumers, carers and families requiring effective interpersonal communication, networking and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
