About the role

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for digital marketing activities including but not limited to maintaining SOPA’s websites, planning and executing email marketing, supporting digital campaigns and other marketing tasks.

About You

We are looking for an experienced executive or specialist level digital marketer to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role requires both creative and analytical skills to plan, develop and execute day-to-day tasks and broader digital campaigns.

To get the most fulfilment out of this role, you will have a keen eye for detail and enjoy writing copy for digital channels. Value brainstorming, planning and processes for cms file management, content calendars and monthly reporting. Take pride in building user-friendly web pages and engaging emails. Look for trends in data and identify opportunities to test new ideas. Find areas for improvement and track progress using digital tools. Provide support, interest and knowledge in all things digital across the organisation.

Key knowledge and experience

Demonstrated experience using website content management systems (Drupal, Sitecore or similar)
Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience using marketing automation and CRM software, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM
Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, data governance and privacy
Sound knowledge and demonstrated using data to drive insights and provide recommendations for digital marketing strategies using business analytics tools (GA4 & GTM)
Sound knowledge of digital marketing methods, techniques and tools, including SEO best practices using tools such as SEM Rush or Moz.

Essential requirements

Tertiary qualifications with a marketing or communications major and/or relevant industry experience.
