Financial Controller (Mat Cover)

Financial Controller – 12 month FTC (+ completion bonus)

Altum Consulting are currently partnering with an established trading and distribution company to recruit a Financial Controller to oversee a specific business unit. This role is for an initial 12 month period and will be on a fixed term contract. Candidates applying are required to start in July.

Role/responsibilities:

• Control and oversight over the Business Unit accounting

• Oversee balance sheet/P&L

• Partner with senior stakeholder to review and deliver management accounts/accurate forecasts

• Completion of year end audit and reporting requirements

• Manage internal audit process

• Preparation of information/reports to financing banks and other stakeholders

• Oversee a capable team of two

You’ll be/have:

• A Qualified Accountant

• Practical experience in industry

• Comfortable dealing and presenting to senior stakeholders

• Experience/desire to coach and develop team members

• Available immediately/short notice period
