The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure NSW Health nutrition standards and therapeutic diet specifications are appropriately implemented within HealthShare NSW managed Food Services and undertake ongoing improvement of food service systems.

Eligibility Requirements

Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description and ensure they are referenced in your resume or answers to targeted questions.
Recognised Nutrition & Dietetics qualifications (eligibility to Dietitians Australia) with extensive post-graduate experience in a large healthcare and food service setting with an understanding of menu planning principles, nutrition standards and management systems
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands, and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
Australian work rights (Australian citizens, permanent residents, valid work visa). Only Australian citizens and permanent residents are considered for permanent roles, and we do encourage those on a visa to apply for our temporary and casual roles.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the COVID-19 vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate.
