In this role you will be leading a team of 30 Data professionals across Analytics, Insights, Data Engineering and Science to deliver commercial value that will help carsales achieve growth across its strategic pillars of digital marketplaces, value added services and future horizons.

• This is your opportunity to engage and inspire local and global executive teams, your team and the broader carsales business on the value of data strategic plans and objectives. You will lead and engage your team to make final decisions on implementation ensuring accountability for actions.
• Share expertise on complex issues where problems are not clearly defined and where fundamental principles may not fully apply.
• Develop and support solutions that deliver development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
• Collaborate and connect with a broad range of stakeholders to translate business segment strategy into functional plans and guide execution.
• Contribute to development of strategies to impact on the overall success of carsales by collaboration with senior management, executives, and customers which frequently involves reconciling multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.
• Lead, support and engage the data team to develop new methods and solve complex matters.
• Deliver budgets to plan

Qualifications

• Demonstrate understanding and expertise in leading Data teams to provide commercial value from Data teams.
• Expertise to grow Data teams to identify, attract, engage and retain talented data teams.
