Job Description:

The Setpoint Integrated Solutions Management Trainee is provided the opportunity to gain the knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions within the organization under the direction of experienced personnel. Comprehensive training will include duties in several departments such as shop operations and service, HSE, Quality, Sustainable Continuous Improvement, New Product Sales, and executive management.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive training and perform duties in several departments including, but not limited to, shop operations and service, HSE, Quality, Sustainable Continuous Improvement, New Product Sales, and executive management
  • Learn various staff functions, including operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and procedures affecting each phase of business
  • Meet performance goals and objectives set by upper management and determined upon accepting the position
  • Report on the progress of goals and objectives
  • Monitor performance progress with management and key trainers
  • Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties
  • Train in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and provide greater promotional opportunities
  • Provide support as needed in various departments, including reporting, data entry, presentation creation, strategic planning, and customer service as needed
  • Successful completion of projects and rotational gate reviews as assigned

Positional Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Industrial Engineering preferred
  • Skills & Abilities
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
    • Project management
    • Critical thinking
    • Data analysis skills
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
  • Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Travel: up to 25%
  • Lifting: up to 50 pounds
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
  • Lift and carry: 50 pounds for 100 feet
  • Bending, stooping, walking and climbing stairs
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps
  • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Communicating with others to exchange information
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Operating machinery and/or power tools
  • Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
  • Required physical ability if mandated by customer or regulatory requirements
  • Able to hold body weight while swinging on rope during static and dynamic transfer (offshore)
