Get involved in the startup world and innovation community in Vancouver. We’re SFU VentureLabs, one of Canada’s leading business accelerators helping science and technology-based new ventures grow into profitable businesses. Stemming from our ties with SFU and the entrepreneurship and innovation community, we work with industry, government, startups, and other innovation support organizations to help companies bring tech and science to market. Our team works closely and collaboratively to provide customized support for our portfolio companies (30+), deliver programming and events that advance the innovation ecosystem, including SFU Innovates initiatives, and increase diversity and inclusion.

About the Role

SFU VentureLabs is looking for an experienced Project Manager to temporarily lead various projects. This truly dynamic role will have you leading development and implementation phases of several diversity and student related programs with leading institutions and spearheading delivery of programs for women entrepreneurs for one of BC’s top business accelerators, SFU VentureLabs. You’ll interface with CEOs and founders, internal leadership, team members, diversity champions, and innovation ecosystem partners daily. You’ll use your excellent project management skills to organize ideas into action, monitor progress on activities, timelines, and budgets, exercising your creative problem solving and people skills to ensure all deliverables are accounted for. They will be able to engage with subject matter experts from various teams and organizations while seeking out potential new partnerships for current projects.
