Registered Nurse – Perioperative Services
  • Experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse, Day Surgery Unit
  • After hours on call required once endoscopy trained
  • Fixed-term Full time and Part time and ongoing hours available
3 West Day Procedure Unit provides complex care through many specialties including emergency, interventional and diagnostic endoscopy, surgical procedures (plastics, ophthalmology, pain management, urology, orthopaedics, and general surgery), anaesthetic and recovery.
Your new role:
  • As a Registered Nurse you are a vital member of the multi-disciplinary health care team who strive to deliver excellent care to patients and their families.
  • Providing nursing practice which focuses on the best possible outcomes for your patients.
  • Interacting with patients, relatives and colleagues in line with the organisation’s values of patient centred care, trust and respect in an environment that continuously identifies opportunities for improving the quality of patient care.
About you:
  • Provide high-quality standards of patient care.
  • Provide complex care through many specialties including interventional and diagnostic endoscopy, surgical procedures (plastics, ophthalmology, pain management, urology, orthopedics, and general surgery), anesthetic and recovery.
  • Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
  • Liaise with the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve the desired patient outcomes.
