At Net Zero Atlantic we lead applied research and contribute to projects that enable the transition of Atlantic Canada’s energy system to a carbon-neutral future through collaboration with academia, governments, the private sector, Indigenous Peoples, and NGOs.
We facilitate collaborative research, pilot, and demonstration projects that resolve key questions related to the energy transition. Our fields of interest include energy system modeling, offshore wind, hydrogen, geothermal energy, carbon sequestration, and behavioral-based mitigation solutions. Further, we are enabling the creation of solutions that don’t exist yet but are needed to ensure a net zero future.
We are growing and looking to add to our team. Currently, we are seeking a full-time Renewable Energy Engineer-in-Training.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on Atlantic Canada’s energy system transition. You will be responsible for the successful identification, creation, and delivery of projects in our renewable energy / clean technology research portfolio.
By encouraging innovation and building energy sector knowledge you will help solve current and emerging decarbonization questions in the renewable energy space. You will collaborate with contributors from the government, technology, and service providers, regulators, energy-project developers, academia, and program funders.
