The Role:
This role will suit a dynamic finance professional with experience in management reporting in a fast paced, high performing, corporate finance environment. Working within a global team, you will play a key role in supporting location with the necessary backup and analytics as required. The role is to support in development and implementation of value-add planning and analysis tools, in addition the role is responsible for the continuous improvement on process and system of FPA activities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Advise and support key stakeholders in relation to FPA matters, in particular Business Line Agnostic support costs.
  • Advise and support system and process matters that may impact FPA activities and the ability to report timely and accurately
  • To advise and engage with key stakeholders, in particular FP&A Manager and FPA Business Partners
  • Assist to develop and implement effective reporting and analysis to improve understanding of actual and forecast performance, to drive future financial performance
  • Assist FP&A Manger with rollout and implementation of consistent and unified reporting
  • Support budget, forecasting, monthly and weekly processes and ensure integrity of data entered into Hyperion for location
  • Identify effective overhead and working capital reporting to drive productivity
  • Prepare or support the preparation of and distribute weekly chargeability reports, flash reporting, Location Reporting Packs and Regional analysis to relevant stakeholders
  • Measure key KPIs and performance drivers of business and locations
  • Support FP&A Manager to support completion of location reporting (budgets, forecasts, monthly and weekly reporting)
  • Ad hoc analysis and tasks as directed by FP&A Manager and Finance Managers

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • A qualified accountant with a track record of success and financial reporting experience across FPA
    and/or commercial support
  • Proven experience working with Financial systems, a logical thinker with track record understanding finance processes. Example: resolving mapping issues within systems and processes
  • Experience in a large publicly traded company, multi-location / international environment (similar industry/sector is
    advantageous)
  • Ability to implement and monitor processes, to deliver improved analytics to the business to support management
    decisions
  • Ability to flex between a strong eye for the detail and recognising the bigger picture
  • Ability to promote awareness on financial integrity and internal controls within Finance
  • Ability to Identify improvement opportunities in relation to People – Process – Technology
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with a large ERP environment such as Oracle and Hyperion would be highly regarded
  • Experience in Power BI would be desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
