The Role

Paid Media is an invaluable and exciting channel to work in. If you have an analytical mind and a hunger for learning new things, then Paid Media Operations is the perfect channel for you. At ROAST we promote collaborative learning, so we are looking for someone who will be and think outside the box.

The Senior PMO Executive’s primary role is to support the Paid Media Account Manager in the setup and implementation of paid media operational tasks across client accounts in line with industry and agency best practices. You will be required to follow instruction on deliverables that will continuously grow and improve performance for our clients’ accounts.

You will be responsible for a variety of paid media operational tasks, supporting elements of campaign setup, reporting and tracking. You will be in regular contact with the PPC Account Managers in the UK to ensure task briefs given to you are completed on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Paid Media Operations

Ad copy creation/testing
Keyword creation/ Keyword research
Search Query Reports and Keyword expansions
Landing page reviews
Campaign Builds in platform (Google Ads)
Basic account audits
Feed management tool experience
Data pulls for daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports as required and ensure timely and accurate delivery
Manage tracking, trafficking and bid management through appropriate tools
Proactively suggest tests to improve setup processes to the Account Managers.
Knowledge and practical experience across a variety of platforms including campaign and ad creation, budget management and targeting options.

Delivery & Line Management

Reporting directly into the Paid Media Account Managers and Directors to ensure that work is delivered to an exceptional standard, on target and on time.
Potential line management of a PMO Executive, responsible for their progression and task management
Task and deliverable ownership within designated briefs.
Training and development of new junior team members to ensure that they are performing at the standard expected by ROAST and our clients

New Business

Supporting the Paid Media Account Managers with new business tasks

This can include:
KW and audience research
Draft copy for example ads

The Candidate

We don’t expect you to know everything on day one, but we really want to see:

At least 18 months experience in paid media operations
Strong knowledge of Google Ads
Experience with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Additional languages and/or knowledge of Javascript would be a bonus
Passion about digital marketing
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Capability of independent research and learning
Proactivity
Excellent written and spoken English

Location: hybrid working both from home and our lovely Cape Town office on the V&A Waterfront
