We are now looking for a Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a DLO Manager, you will lead our operative teams to successfully deliver responsive services and related work programs.
Working with colleagues in Property Services, youโll ensure that your teams carry out their work efficiently, safely and in line with our customerโs needs. Youโll also oversee the Supervisors, ensuring they are equipped to effectively manage a team of Trade Operatives.
Leading on supplier, contractor and subcontractor management, youโll oversee performance, ensuring budgets are allocated, value for money is achieved and all regulatory requirements are adhered to.
Additionally, youโll support service reviews and lead on performance tracking, championing customerโs needs, driving positive change and ensuring the appropriate use of time and resources across the DLO.
About You
To be considered as a DLO Manager, you will need:
– Experience of managing teams within a DLO
– Experience of managing a responsive repairs service or managing delivery of major works programmes
– Experience of compliance management in a related field
– Experience of social housing environment and policy
– A good knowledge of construction and building maintenance
– A solid understanding of health and safety legislation and its application
– Basic IT skills
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Good organisational and time management skills
– A construction trade qualification or equivalent experience
– A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for daily use
