Job Description

We are currently recruiting to the role of Service Manager in Adult Social Care for specialist teams with a particular focus on Learning and Development and Mental Health Social Work.
As part of a leadership team you will have line management responsibility for Team Managers and teams in this service area.
You will be required to manage, support and promote Team Managers and teams in safe effective decision-making using strength based approaches that maximise independence to citizens in Bristol.
You will oversee and manage budgets and resources and provide direction and support to Team Managers in these areas.
As a Service Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that high levels of performance and delivery are maintained using quality assurance and audit.
You will also need to work in partnership with local health, social care and voluntary and community organisations and represent Adult Social Care at a wider system level.
Induction and appropriate training will be provided to the successful candidate
You will need to hold relevant professional registration (e.g. Social Work England, or Health Care Professionals Council).
