The Role

Zen are seeking an experienced full-stack System Developer with strong experience in C# and AWS to join one of our software development team. You will join a team delivering enterprise level and highly scalable systems which underpin the success of the company.

You will be joining a highly capable and enthusiastic group of developers working on an exciting array of technologies in a very friendly environment. We are embarking on a journey to re-platform our entire software estate, this would offer the right candidate the opportunity to solve unique, large scale technical problems.

• C# and .Net core
• Web Api
• AWS Serverless
• MVC
• React
• SQL Server

What we are looking for:

• We’re primarily building software in C# and Javascript, however we would love to hear from experienced developers in other modern languages
• Experience of developing and consuming REST APIs (ASP .NET WebApi)
• Competent at using source control (Git, TFS)
• Experience of working with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Experience of using CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GO CD)
• Extensive experience of Test Driven Development
• Understanding and experience of Databases (SQL Server, Dynamo)
• Understanding of and experience in implementing technical design patterns and architectural principals
• Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team environment
• Experience of using Docker
• Experience of using Kubernetes
• Experience of working in an agile environment
