Branch Manager Role:
In this role, you will report to the District Manager and be responsible for leading an efficient and customer-focused branch operation.
Ensure that customers receive an amazing customer service experience.
Provide active sales leadership, proactive and effective fleet management, and a safety focused culture.
“Own” the branch and lead the sales and rental operations, including management the financial business plan, as well as developing your staff, training, safety, operational excellence, presentation and facility maintenance.
Responsible for building a strong team that is customer focused and delivers high quality production and meets sales goals.
Lead by example to make sure that safety is of the utmost importance and company policies and directives are adhered to always.
Be highly engaged on a daily basis with the oversight and leadership of the branch sales, service, and delivery teams to make sure they are aligning with the company’s goals and mission statement.
Provide a consistent quality product to both internal and external customers.
Actively lead and oversee sales efforts.
Ensure your sales representatives are utilizing the tools provided to them for success.
Ensure your team is covering their assigned market area and building strong and lasting customer relationships.
As the Branch Manager, spend to in the field and interacting with customers and your sales representatives.
Responsible for achieving financial goals and objectives by driving the performance of financial operational plans and budgets.
Provide consistent coaching, training, and feedback to your employes, and take ownership of all hiring decisions to make sure the best people are in place in each role. This will include recruiting and interviewing.
Promote a positive culture and employee relations.
Manage the productivity of the branch, payroll, and staffing in accordance with the company’s expectations and objectives.
Lead and facilitate team meetings and promote effective communication.
Build and strengthen relationships with customers to ensure exceptional customer service.
Work cross functionally with other teams within the company to develop and execute a strong and obtainable business plan.
Manage requests that come in from other internal locations.
Branch Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in roles showing increased responsibility
2+ years of experience supervising a branch or profit center with P&L responsibility
2+ years of experience in a multi-location work environment
Ability to assess customer patterns and adjust labor and branch focus accordingly
MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience generating revenue
Experience analyzing income statements
Analytical decision-making skills
Strong leadership experience and the ability to develop people
Strong financial acumen, including cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision making and quantitative analysis
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong multi-tasking skills
