Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be customer leads primary point of contact for customer forecasting, reconciliations, trade spend and forecast reporting, price package and annual plan updates.

You will be responsible for analyzing portfolio performance and trends, building forecasts, resolving pricing plan incoherencies with US customer Teams, and developing strategic insights to shape Monster Portfolio performance by continuously challenging, recommending, and enhancing forecasts through analysis of customer data including a variety of statistical and financial modeling tools.

Responsibilities include building and managing customer-level forecast at geographical level with predictive modeling. Identifying and correcting pricing errors by determining root cause. Lead and assist in the resolution of customer and field invoicing issues.

You will work closely with Customer teams, claims, AR&AP, & RGM teams to analyze and provide short- and long-term forecast assumptions for Monster portfolio growth/performance.

In addition, this individual will be involved in the continuous improvement, development, modification, and implementation of financial systems as necessary to streamline and simplify customer invoicing, AR reconciliations, pricing guardrails, and ensure SOX compliance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain and update weekly, monthly, and annually spends and volume forecasts.
  • Build and maintain files necessary for annual planning for customers, Business Units, and Brands
  • Develop, update, and reconcile checkbook of spends, invoicing and payments to reduce accrual variances.
  • Review National/Regional key account CMA’s, CFP’s, and accruals during customer planning process.
  • Participate on cross-functional teams on high-visibility financial systems development and implementation.
  • Collaborate across Chain Claims, AR & AP, and retailer to ensure proper and timely accounting of spends.
  • Conduct analysis on pricing activity and deliver insights to Customer, RGM, and Pricing teams to increase efficiencies in process.
  • Work across multiple reporting systems and departments to extract and cleanse data, perform analyses, and make strategic recommendations.

Position Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business
  • Minimum of 3 years Forecasting / Finance/ Accounting/ or Data Analysis experience, Beverage industry experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and organizational skills; attention to detail; and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Effectively communicates and drives organizational performance changes by translating analytics into actions and sustainable results.
  • Models exemplary behavior to seek out opportunities to share information, recommendations, and advice
  • Ability to collaborate, establish strong relationships and credibility with clients at all levels internally at Monster Energy Co as well as with the customer.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently while being a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent at managing time, priorities, and expenses

PAY RANGE: $77k – $90k
