Job Description

Responsibilities:

Supports the development/selection of appropriate research methodology to best meet the needs of the client.
Manages relationships and projects with external vendors as needed.
Creates research proposals for internal clients and Request for Proposals (RFPs) for external vendors.
Reviews and evaluates vendor proposals to ensure they meet client objectives and have a sound methodological relevance as well as selects the proposal that best meets client needs.
Creates quantitative online/telephone questionnaires and qualitative screening instruments and moderator guides.
Programs online questionnaires using an electronic survey platform.
Designs and coordinates the distribution of surveys to relevant audiences, such as general consumers, patients, employees and physicians.
Gathers necessary primary and secondary data to support projects.
Analyzes data and writes reports in an innovative manner, which includes incorporating the latest research technology and techniques.
Assists in developing recommendations and implications for clients based on research findings and objectives.
Assists with conducting client meetings / Presents research results to internal clients.
Coordinates and manages multiple projects/tasks in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, market research, psychology or sociology or related field with quantitative research methods as well as exposure to qualitative methods is required.
Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Complexity of Work:

Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills are required.
Excellent at problem solving and relationship building.
Ability to work independently and within groups on tasks.
Detail oriented.
Well-developed computer skills with the ability to use multiple software packages for abstracting, manipulating and analyzing primary and secondary data from internal and external sources.
Good writing skills required.
Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
Requires knowledge of basic marketing and market research principles, terminology and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:

Primary market research (quantitative methodologies such as surveys and qualitative such as focus groups and one-on-one interviews),
Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
In some locations, ability to move up to 15 lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

As a Market Research Analyst, you will conduct market research studies that support the Cleveland Clinic enterprise, such as the Division of Marketing and Communications, Office of Patient Experience, Operations, Patient Financial Services, administration and clinical areas within the organization. This position will support all Cleveland Clinic locations, including domestic and international facilities.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $20.77

Maximum hourly: $31.68

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
