Project Manager

Estate and Built Environment

  • Continuing, full-time
  • $102,199 to $118,605 per annum (HE08)
  • Plus 17% employer superannuation
  • Salary packaging options are available
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum
  • Relocation assistance provided

About the role

The Project Manager is directly accountable for the delivery of major and minor capital projects from inception through project delivery and closeout, inclusive of new, re-development and refurbishment of buildings and site infrastructure. The Project Manager may be required to manage other project or construction staff, depending on the location and magnitude of projects in the capital program. The Project Manager reports to the Project Delivery Manager and operates under their broad direction.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated exceptional project management expertise (internal or external) including relevant financial management, systems, processes, reporting and analytical skills.
  • Actively overcomes obstacles to achieve and makes decisions in a timely manner while maintaining progress towards planned outcomes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of capital works for buildings and infrastructure.

About the Faculty/Group

The Estate and Built Environment Directorate is responsible for buildings/infrastructure, grounds and facility services across UNE properties and is part of the Integrated Services Portfolio. The E&BE consists of the units of Operational Services, Project Delivery and Asset Services.
