The Opportunity
We are looking to appoint a Service Desk Technician to help lead to come and join our growing ICT team. Forming part of Acciona’s Global Service Desk team and reporting to the Australian End User Services Manager, you will be the standalone service provider for the billion-dollar project.
The role will partner with new and existing employees using ACCIONA devices and infrastructure to support managing their computers, operating systems, applications, and mobile services.
This role will cover offices in Melbourne CBD & Moorabbin
Key accountabilities for the position:
Provide second-level support, including logging and handling of ICT incidents and service requests, using the ITSM tool Service Now.
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software (Microsoft) and peripheral devices.
Monitor your ticket queue (requests and incidents) and reprioritise your workload to ensure all tickets are resolved within the defined SLAs.
Provide clear and concise notes within ServiceNow against each ticket, and where necessary, update/develop Knowledge Base articles.
Work closely with the wider ICT team, both locally within Australia and globally with our Parent Company, to achieve the best possible outcome for the End User.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Proven experience in a Level 1 & 2 Service Desk role
  • Ideally, commercial experience gained in an IT Support role
  • Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android) and Office 365 PC programs,
  • Experience in PC Hardware configuration, including maintaining printers and scanners.
