Job Description

Helecom System is currently seeking Full Time/Part Time applicants to join our software development / Technical Support Team in South Sydney. Experience in the development of Business Applications (POS, MIS, ERP, Accounting etc) with VB / C# / VB.NET would be highly regarded but not essential.

 

Your role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Develop new application software according to the requirements specified;
  • Enhance/maintain existing application software;
  • As required, assist with client upgrades and preparing systems for presentations/demonstrations;
  • Document object models/program logic and user manuals;
  • Provide technical support to clients.

 

Knowledge:

  • VB6 / C# / VB.NET;
  • OO design methodologies;
  • Database programming knowledge including SQL skills;
  • WEB-based technologies (HMTL, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.);
  • Computer PC Hardware / Windows Operating System

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects;
  • Ability to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually where required;
  • Self-motivated.
