Web Developer

Piper Companies is currently looking for a Web Developer in Raleigh, NC to work for a company that develops and deploys advanced technologies to enable research discoveries and practical innovations.

 

Responsibilities for the Web Developer include:

·      Design and develop websites and web applications.

·      Work with researchers and users of the software to explain website and web application functionality

·      Maintain and update existing applications to meet security and functionality standards.

·      Work with organization management and staff on project requirements

Qualifications for the Web Developer include:

·      1-2 years of Web development experience

·      Fluency in front-end languages: HTML, CSS, and post-ES6+ JavaScript–and some modern front-end frameworks and/or libraries

·      1+ years of a modern JavaScript framework (Angular, React, Knockout, etc.)

·      Preferred experience with UI/UX and tools such as Webpack, Rollup, Parcel

·      Bachelor’s degree (preferred), or equivalent experience

Compensation for the Web Developer includes:

·      Salary Range: $60,000-$85,000
