As our Web Developer, you will: –

Design, develop and implement new web sites and alterations to existing websites in accordance with relevant standards.- Investigate and use current and emerging technologies in the field of web design and development.- Provide advice to management, clients, and team members relating to web-based technologies with a particular focus on web usability and accessibility.- Develop and document user requirements, functional and technical specifications, reports, policies standards and procedures, and other documentation as required.- Represent the agency at whole of government meetings relating to web development.- Troubleshoot and fix website issues.- Provide technical support to customers.- Coordinate upgrades, testing, and maintenance.- Write and maintain clear process documentation.- Support the preparation of estimate according to requirements.- Develop reusable web solutions.- Comply with web accessibility and usability standards.- Work with multidisciplinary teams and vendors.You will exhibit capabilities in line with the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) framework for this role including: – Information content publishing (ICPM-5)- Testing (TEST-4)- Consultancy (CNSL-5)- Specialist advice (TECH-5)What you will bring : – Demonstrated experience using HTML5 and(S)CSS.- Demonstrated experience working with large content management systems.Experience with: – JavaScript- Squiz Matrix- Funnelback Search- WCAG 2.1 AA- Whole of Government web standards- Knowledge of JIRA and Agile methodologiesApplications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/498129/23Closing Date: Monday, 17 July 2023This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
