An exciting Assistant Service Manager opportunity has arisen to join the senior management team responsible for the pan Lothian Diabetes and Endocrinology service, and Outpatients at Western General Hospital and St John’s Hospital. The service remit also covers the management and development of Community Monitoring. The role is based at the Western General Hospital but as the role covers all 3 acute sites, there is the expectation that the post holder will also work flexibly across all our service sites.

The Assistant Service Manager is a key member of the clinical management team, supporting the Clinical Service Manager in operational and performance management and the management of administrative staff across the service. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in managing change, leading teams and performance management.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record.
