As the Strategy & Operations Manager for our North American team, your responsibilities will include harnessing data to develop actionable insights, devising strategic plans, and catalyzing innovative business initiatives to expand Karrot throughout North America. Your role will become increasingly critical as we venture into new regions that require unique expansion strategies.As you work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will lead major initiatives across North America while maintaining full autonomy over your work. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our North American operations by translating our global vision into locally resonant strategies and plans.
- Data Analysis: Design, implement, and automate processes to enhance business performance and reliability. Independently conduct analyses and create dashboards to monitor your projects’ success.
- Innovation: Execute analyses and experiments to uncover growth opportunities for Karrot Marketplace in North America.
- Process and Tool Development: A significant part of your role will involve formulating processes and tools that augment our operations. Tasks may include creating new rules for diverse sectors and streamlining onboarding procedures.
- Strategy Formulation: Collaborate with team leads to establish a clear and effective strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key cross-functional partner, liaising with global teams to develop processes that are both relevant and adaptable.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a startup, strategy consulting, operations management, finance, or a related field.
- A deep-rooted passion for local marketplaces, with a specific interest in innovative approaches.
- Exceptional business acumen.
- Superior analytical abilities and proficiency in Excel (SQL experience is mandatory).
- Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in an additional language would be a significant plus.
